For over 100 years the Statue of Liberty has stood as a Symbol of Hope & Freedom.
Frederic Auguste Bartholdi designed the copper statue which stands 12 stories tall atop a pedestal created by renowned American architect Richard Morris Hunt. Its supporting skeleton was devised by the builder of the Eiffel Tower, Gustave Alexandre Eiffel himself. The Statue, a gift from the French people to celebrate the centennial of the Declaration of Independence, represents the deep history & friendship shared between the United States & France.

Dine with the Statue’s original torch. Enjoy green roofscape & observation deck providing stunning views of the NYC Skyline, Lady Liberty, Ellis Island & new Interactive exhibits & immersive theater. Outdoor events on the island available for 500 + guests (weather dependent). National Park Rangers in attendance.
